Bruce Paton

Bruce Paton is a seasoned and passionate teacher and social innovator with an impressive academic background. He has a PhD from the University of California, Santa Cruz, an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a BA from Wesleyan University. Bruce's mission is to help business and community leaders learn how to make a positive impact, and he currently teaches courses on Design Thinking, Sustainable Business, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Creativity and Collaboration.
Throughout his career, Bruce has held numerous positions in academia and industry. He is currently an Emeritus Professor and Visiting Professor at Menlo College, where he previously served as a Professor and as Dean of Business and Academic Affairs. Additionally, he has held faculty positions at San Francisco State University and the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Bruce has also held leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, Rolltronics Corporation, and the District of Columbia Government.
Bruce is a former Board President at Leadership Sunnyvale and has a wealth of experience in shaping social innovation in the community. His vast experience makes him a determined and strategic leader with a passion for helping people make a positive impact.
