Bruce Maxwell

Dr. Bruce Maxwell is an accomplished professional with a strong background in Robotics, Computer Speech, and Natural Language Processing. He holds a Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Computer Speech and Natural Language Processing from Cambridge University, and a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science from Swarthmore College.

Dr. Maxwell currently serves as a Visiting Professor and Director of Computing Programs at the prestigious Roux Institute, which is affiliated with Northeastern University. Previously, he held the position of Data Science Program Director at Colby College and Director of Research at Tandent Vision Science, Inc. His academic experience includes roles as Professor and Chair of Computer Science at Colby College, Associate Professor of Engineering at Swarthmore College, Assistant Professor of Engineering at Swarthmore College, and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Dakota.
