Bruce Hurst

Bruce Hurst is a seasoned musician and a sound system expert with over 30 years of experience in the professional audio industry. His journey into the world of sound began in the early '70s when he performed in a Christian band, developing a passion for live sound mixing while touring across the US.

After leaving the stage, Bruce worked in various fields such as construction, retail, and youth ministry. However, he continued to fuel his passion for sound development by starting his own sound company, specializing in rental and system design for the House of Worship market. He also worked as a technical director for churches and a backline gear technician for artists such as Dione Warwick and Melissa Etheridge.

In 1990, Bruce joined Bose Corporation, where he held various roles over the years, from regional sales manager to product and software trainer. As a sales engineer for Bose's Professional Systems Group, Bruce supports two factory reps in the Southeast US and Caribbean, providing system solutions for integrators and their customers.

Bruce holds a degree in Music Education from Butler University and has studied audio system design and measurement at Synergetic Audio Concepts and Sound System Measurement at SMAART System Analysis.
