Responsible for all aspects of managing a mature brand in a very competitive category. Responsibilities included: forecasting, managing P&L, strategic planning, advertising & promotion development and sales support.- Developed radio advertising campaign that was run during prime sore throat season. Campaign stressed the unique positioning of each of the different lozenge brands Cepacol and CEPASTAT. Campaign resulted in an increase in awareness of the brand and an increase in sales.- Initiated unique “gorilla marketing” sampling program as a way to dispose of miss-dated product, saving disposal costs. Handed out full boxes of product as samples at sporting events nationwide.- Worked with manufacturing to centralize global lozenge production at Cincinnati facility.

Grew the OTC business in those accounts by 300% in one year.- Created unique selling opportunity with Big Lots chain which saved company $30,000 in disposal fees for short-dated value packs.- Received “Rookie of the Year”
