Brock Gibian

Brock Gibian serves as Ecogy’s Director of Development, overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects and products, encompassing development, financial modeling, contract negotiation, milestone approvals, account management, policy lobbying, and marketing. Prior to his current role, Brock amassed extensive experience in energy policy across various sectors, including academia, public, private, and non-profit. His past roles include a tenure as a Fellow at Renewable Energy Vermont, where he played a pivotal role in the passage of the nation's first integrated renewable portfolio standard and energy transformation program. Notably, at the University of Vermont (UVM), Brock served in several research assistant positions, focusing on a wide array of topics such as energy-climate transitions, social inequality, LGBTQ politics, and marriage equality. His academic background includes a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics, with a concentration on public policy addressing the nexus of inequality and climate change.
