Britney Robbins

Britney Robbins is the founder and CEO of The Gray Matter Experience, a non-profit organization focused on empowering Black high school students in entrepreneurship.

With a background in Rhetoric and English from The University of Illinois, Britney has been an active member of Chicago's entrepreneurship and tech community for over eight years.

Having worked with prominent venture capital firms and incubators like Cleveland Avenue, Sandbox Industries, Lightbank, and 1871, Britney has garnered recognition for her work, including being named in various prestigious lists such as 40 Under 40 Gamechangers and Essence Magazine's Woke 100.

Britney's dedication to improving the well-being of Black communities is evident in her mission to provide quality resources and education for their advancement.

In addition to her role at The Gray Matter Experience, Britney has served as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business and has been involved in various capacities in organizations like Cleveland Avenue, Entrenuity, and Future Founders.

Her educational background includes a BS in Creative Writing/English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and participation in programs such as the Chicago Urban League IMPACT Leadership Development Program and The Global Good Fund's LEAP Program.
