Brian Weiss is a seasoned software industry executive leader and senior manager, with over 20 years of experience in driving software product organizations to world-class levels of strategy and execution. He is passionate about the advancement of "connected healthcare" and contributing to the overall development of the US and Israeli technology industries. Weiss studied Computer Science at both the University of Maryland and Rice University and obtained his MS in Computer Science from Columbia University.

His career highlights include founding and serving as CEO at Carebox Healthcare Solutions, Inc., which focuses on patient-centric medical record collection and clinical trial navigation solutions, and launching the CDA PRO website to help advance the cause of healthcare document interoperability, in alignment with US Government "Meaningful Use" mandates. Weiss has also worked as a Knowledge Base Content Developer at Health Level Seven (Contractor), a Business Strategy Consultant at Verint (Consultant), and an Executive Vice President for Products at dbMotion.
