Brian Stoffers is a highly accomplished professional overseeing the global Debt & Structured Finance practice at CBRE, where he leads a team of over 220 professionals who originated nearly $53 billion in loans in 2020 with a diverse group of 393 lenders.

With a career spanning over decades, Brian's expertise lies in the origination, structuring, placement, closing, and servicing of commercial real estate debt for a variety of institutions including life insurance companies, pension funds, banks, debt funds, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, and CMBS.

Beginning his journey with Coldwell Banker Commercial in 1981, Brian steadily rose through the ranks to become a senior real estate finance officer in their La Jolla, California, office, bringing a wealth of experience to his current role at CBRE.

Brian Stoffers holds an MBA from San Diego State University-California State University, and he pursued his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Cal State Fullerton, underscoring his commitment to continuously enhancing his knowledge.

In addition to his role at CBRE, Brian is also known for his leadership as the past Chairman (2019/2020) of the Mortgage Bankers Association and his current position on CBRE's Americas Executive Committee, showcasing his commitment to the industry and his ability to drive strategic initiatives.
