Brian Raney

Brian Raney is the Director of Major Gifts at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation, where he collaborates with Team USA supporters in the San Francisco Bay Area and Pacific Northwest to match their philanthropic interests with giving opportunities that empower Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Being a below-the-knee amputee, Brian Raney is part of the 'Team Behind the Team' and works to support both Paralympic and Olympic athletes through philanthropy.

Brian Raney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. He also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Sport and Fitness Administration/Management at Ohio University.

With a rich professional background, Brian Raney has held various roles in prominent organizations. He served as the Director of Major Gifts at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and held senior development positions at the University of California, Berkeley, including Senior Director of Development, Director of Development, and Associate Director of Development focusing on Leadership Giving and Alumni Relations at Cal Athletics.

Brian Raney's career also includes roles such as Assistant Director of Athletic Development at the College of William and Mary, Graduate Assistant at Game Plan Technologies at Ohio University, Rebel Athletics Fund Intern at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Game Operations Intern at the Golden State Warriors, and Cal Men's Basketball Team Manager at UC Berkeley.
