He served as the Director of Major Gifts at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and held senior development positions at the University of California, Berkeley, including Senior Director of Development, Director of Development, and Associate Director of Development focusing on Leadership Giving and Alumni Relations at Cal Athletics.

    Brian Raney's career also includes roles such as Assistant Director of Athletic Development at the College of William and Mary, Graduate Assistant at Game Plan Technologies at Ohio University, Rebel Athletics Fund Intern at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Game Operations Intern at the Golden State Warriors, and Cal Men's Basketball Team Manager at UC Berkeley.
