Brian Pinette

Brian Pinette is an accomplished individual with a diverse background spanning electrical engineering, computer programming, and artificial intelligence (AI). His interest in technology blossomed early in sixth grade when he discovered the hidden language of electronics through a circuit diagram shown by a friend. This pivotal moment motivated Brian to pursue a career in electrical engineering.

Throughout high school, Brian's fascination with computing grew deeper as he delved into machine language programming. The realization that computers could process information using only ones and zeroes intrigued him, leading him to set his sights on becoming a computer programmer alongside an electrical engineer.

Brian's educational journey led him to MIT, where he found the perfect intersection of his interests in electrical engineering and computer science. His exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) further fueled his passion when he encountered concepts like AND/OR graphs used in chess-playing programs. This exposure solidified his desire to work in the field of AI.

With a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Brian fortified his expertise in AI. His academic background also includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from MIT, highlighting his strong foundation in technology. Additionally, he pursued a Nanodegree in Flying cars / drones from Udacity, showcasing his commitment to staying at the cutting edge of technological advancements.

Brian's professional journey includes significant roles at various prestigious organizations. He served as a Senior Software Engineer Research Development at Lexalytics, Inc., where he contributed to research and development endeavors. Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Consultant at Lexalytics, Inc., showcasing his versatility in different roles within the same organization.

Before his tenure at Lexalytics, Brian was a Senior Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he further honed his skills in AI research. His career path also includes roles such as Project Manager at IAVO Research Scientific, Researcher at Aerial Vision, Inc., and Software Architect at Knowledge Matters, Inc., underscoring his versatility and expertise across different domains.

Brian's professional experience extends to consultancy and engineering roles, having worked as a Consultant at Self Employed, Senior Software Engineer Research Development at Onshore Intelligence, Inc., Senior Software Engineer at Chiliad Publishing, Inc., and Principal Software Engineer at Amerinex Applied Imaging.
