Brian O'Neil

Brian O'Neil is the Director of AmeriCorps Maker Fellowship at Citizen Schools, a position he has held since February 2020.13 He is a passionate nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in demonstrating equitable outcomes for underserved communities.1

Prior to his current role, Brian held several positions in various organizations:

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a Master of Public Administration in Public & Nonprofit Management & Policy from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.1

In his role at Citizen Schools, Brian oversees the AmeriCorps Maker Fellowship program, which aims to increase access to authentic, experience-based learning opportunities for K-12 students.2 He is known for his expertise in creative partnership building and capacity development, with a track record of developing and leading national program models.1
