Brian McHugh is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with a track record of delivering innovative, sustainable solutions to address complex cyber risks. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he earned a Certificate in International Business, as well as Appalachian State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in International Business Management.

McHugh has held various positions throughout his career, including Head of Strategic Transformation & Regulatory and Industry Engagement, Senior Manager of Third-Party Cybersecurity, and Senior Vice President & Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Business Information Security at Bank of America. He has also worked as a senior incident manager, innovation lead, identity and access management strategy lead, and insider threat & behavioral analysis risk manager at the bank.

Prior to his tenure at Bank of America, McHugh served as a consultant onsite at the bank while working for TEKsystems. He also held consulting positions at The Reserve Management Corporation and J.P. Morgan, as well as business analyst and project manager roles at UBS Investment Bank and Structured Finance Analyst II at US Bank/Wachovia Bank.

As a cybersecurity expert, McHugh is passionate about risk mitigation, continuous improvement, and building collaborative partnerships based on trust. His expertise spans a variety of cyber disciplines, enabling him to meet the demands of a dynamic risk environment.
