Brian McConnell

Brian McConnell is a renowned inventor, author and entrepreneur in the localization industry. He has led localization teams at various startups including Lyft, Medium, Insightly and Notion. His educational background includes a degree in B.S. from Virginia Tech. McConnell has had an extensive career spanning across various organizations, serving as Globalization / Localization Engineering Manager at BlackLine, Localization Program Manager at Lyft, Director of API Integration at Gengo and Founder/Lead Developer at Worldwide Lexicon among other positions. With his vast knowledge of localization, McConnell currently serves as the Head of Localization at Notion. He has also authored works at O'Reilly & Associates and founded several companies including Open Communication Systems, Trekmail Inc, and PhoneZone.
