- Responsible for several enterprise level applications, associated staff and budget. The application and associated processes developed by my team to improve the IT estimating process is now being rolled out company wide.•	Reorganized area within first 60 days.  Result was improved efficiency, elimination of redundant positions and improved quality.•	One of a select number of people within the organization asked to serve on both the Application Architecture Review Board and the Software Process Engineering Group.•	Responsible for several very large and key initiatives for the organization. - Built a profitable multi-million dollar consulting practice while continuing to personally provide management consulting services to Fortune 500 clients.•	Worked as a managing consultant to one of the nations leading EDI transaction clearinghouse companies as their operations and project manager. •	Designed, built and implemented a web-based transaction clearinghouse to process medical claims for many of the largest health insurance carriers in the country.•	Worked with a leading health care credentialing service to design, build and implement an application for handheld devices to gather standardized information in the field and to download this information remotely to a central database in order to reduce errors, improve efficiency and reduce cost.•	Also managed the migration of this national EDI transaction processing system from a processing center in the Midwest to one in Plano, Texas.  The move included the coordination of the staffs of over 20 Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, more than 30 national healthcare insurance providers, software vendors and value added networks.•	Worked on projects that include: wireless software that has been deployed on the NASCAR circuit and software in which a banking client used the product to launch successful national gift certificate system.•	Managed a customer service improvement project that resulted in staffing changes, process changes and the design and development of new tracking software that resulted in a reduction in call turn around times from days to less than an hour, the elimination of double digit abandonment rates and an increase in overall satisfaction.•	Developed Electronic Commerce and EDI objectives and strategies for clients.•	Worked as a process improvement consultant and analyst on several projects.•	Worked with a manufacturing and retail distribution company to analyze their existing Point-of-Sale software and business practices and recommended areas for improvement.
