Brian Flynn

Brian Flynn is a Senior Vice President at Whittier Trust Company, operating from the South Pasadena office, where he focuses on business development and marketing.

With 35 years of experience, Brian specializes in working with high net worth individuals and families, particularly in major gift philanthropy.

Throughout his career, Brian has been involved in capital campaign, endowment, and major gift development for prestigious institutions such as USC, Stanford, Claremont University Center, Huntington Medical Research Institutes, and Woodbury University.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and an MFA from the University of Southern California.

Brian is actively engaged in various organizations, including the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, Pasadena Optimist Club (where he served as president), Saddle and Sirloin Club (former president), and the Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick (former president). He is also a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary.

A fifth-generation Californian, Brian has diverse interests outside of work, being an avid horseman, surfer, writer, and speaker on the California Vaquero and the history of the American cowboy.
