Brian Emord

Brian Emord is a seasoned IT professional with over two decades of experience in the industry. He has worked with some of the biggest names in tech, including Walmart, Credit Karma, and Apple Inc. Brian's expertise lies in building automation to maintain high-availability environments, a skill he developed long before the term "DevOps" was coined. At Entefy, he heads the platform operations team. Brian's experience has been in larger companies, and he has dealt with enterprise-scale issues. His strength lies in streamlining and transitioning complex environments from erratic start-ups to more efficient enterprises.

Brian studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California and has served in various IT roles, including Communications Technician, Network Technician, Unix Systems Administrator, NOC Analyst II, and Senior Systems Engineer. He was also Manager of Middleware Engineering at Walmart eCommerce and DevOps Tech Lead at LiveRamp. Brian is a team player who is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Moreover, he always looks for opportunities for growth and optimization, which he does by automating himself out of a job.
