Brian Doyle
Director of Bands at SUNY Potsdam
Brian Doyle is a renowned expert in music education and wind conducting, with a diverse educational background. He obtained a degree in Biomedical Engineering (BME) along with studies in Music Education, Saxophone Performance, and Wind Conducting at Michigan State University. He continued his education with a focus on Wind Conducting, earning a degree at the University of Michigan.
Throughout his career, Brian has held various instrumental roles in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as the Director of Bands at SUNY Potsdam. Previously, he has contributed significantly as the Assistant Director of Bands at Indiana University Bloomington, Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Band Director at Interlochen Center for the Arts, and Music Teacher at Imlay City Schools. Additionally, he has showcased his musical talent as a Saxophonist with the 745th AF Band in the United States Air Force.
