Brian Connolly

Brian Connolly is a dedicated professional currently part of the Integrated Training Services/Policy, Evaluation, and Training Division within the UN Department of Peace Operations.

With an extensive background in international development and civil society support, Brian has a wealth of experience having managed over 750 funded projects worldwide during his tenure at the United Nations.

Brian's earlier career involved humanitarian efforts in the Sahel region of Africa, focusing on hunger relief, emergency aid, and fundraising operations at Concern Worldwide, a renowned civil society organization.

His academic achievements include an MSc in Development Management, Development Economics, and International Development, as well as a BA (Hons) in International Studies, Development Economics, and International Development, both from The Open University.

Throughout his professional journey, Brian has held various roles at the UN, including Program Management Assistant at the UN Department of Peace Operations and the UN Democracy Fund, as well as serving as an Intern at the UN Office for Partnerships. Prior to his UN roles, he also worked as a Donor Care Executive at Concern Worldwide.
