Brian Bonner

Brian Bonner is a well-traveled American journalist currently residing in Kyiv, Ukraine with a rich background in editing, reporting, writing, and managing in diverse and challenging settings. His expertise extends to program management, advocacy, civil society development, and election monitoring.

Brian Bonner pursued his education diligently, attaining a High School Diploma from Mitchell (South Dakota) High School, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and further studies at The University of South Dakota and Dakota State University.

Throughout his career, Brian has held significant roles such as Chief Editor at Kyiv Post, Regional Coordinator at Objective Investigative Reporting Program, Associate Director of International Communications at Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Election expert/political analyst at OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), and Reporter and assigning editor at St. Paul Pioneer Press.
