Brian Blankenship
Brian Blankenship, a product design and manufacturing expert, has extensive experience in the product development lifecycle. He has worked on concept development, prototyping, process development, and lean initiatives for products ranging from ball bearings to pharmaceuticals. Additionally, he has led cross-functional teams from prototyping to product launch, including establishing and managing project schedules and deadlines. Brian has worked with both domestic and international suppliers, including first article inspection and testing of parts. He has a patent on an electronic key assembly, which he both designed and managed the project. Brian is a DFM/A, FMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ, Lean, Visual Workplace, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping specialist. He studied BME at Georgia Institute of Technology, a Certificate in Basic and Advanced Radio Production and Operations at Pikes Peak Community College, and a Postbaccalaureate at Point Park University. He worked as Staff Engineer, Project Manager, and Principal Engineer at Collins Aerospace. Earlier, he served as a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at CEA Technologies, Inc, Manager of DFT Engineering at JCIT International, and Mechanical Engineer at Ingersoll Rand - Schlage Lock. Currently, he works as a Box Office/Ticketing Specialist at BOM Advisers.
