Brett Stewart

Brett Stewart is an accomplished banker and investor, with a diverse range of experience in developed and emerging markets. He is currently leading Standard Chartered's West Coast VC and PE coverage, as well as heading the US fintech banking team. Prior to this, he spent a number of years investing late-stage growth equity in emerging markets, and earlier in his career, worked in M&A at both Goldman Sachs and Moelis, on a range of large and mid-cap transactions in the US and Europe. His areas of expertise include private equity, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, consumer, retail, telecoms, industrials, fintech, corporate development, emerging markets, growth equity, minority investments, secondaries, and fund finance, among others. Brett has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, as well as a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Georgia.
