Brett Samsky

Brett Samsky is the founder and CEO of Credigy, a global specialty finance company based in Atlanta, Georgia.13 He has over 25 years of experience in consumer finance and venture capital.3 Samsky founded Credigy in 2001, and under his leadership, the company has grown significantly, closing more than 350 deals and investing over $23 billion to date.2

Prior to founding Credigy, Samsky served as CFO and founder of multiple consumer finance and venture capital companies from 1992 to 2001.1 He also worked as a Senior Accountant (Tax) at Deloitte from 1988 to 1990.1

Samsky holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia - J.M. Tull School of Accounting, where he graduated magna cum laude with high honors.1 In addition to his role at Credigy, he serves as a Board Member and Philanthropist at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital since December 2019.1

Under Samsky's leadership, Credigy has become known for providing creative solutions for consumer finance, with flexibility to acquire or finance diverse assets across multiple asset classes and geographies.2 The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Bank of Canada and manages over $5.7 billion in assets.4
