Brett Hagler is the CEO and Co-founder of New Story, an organization that pioneers solutions to end global homelessness. Hagler has been instrumental in making New Story a force to be reckoned with since its inception in 2015. Under his leadership, New Story has funded over 3,500 life-changing homes across different countries like Haiti, El Salvador, Bolivia, and Mexico. The team has also built more than 30 communities and was recognized as one of the top innovative companies by Fast Company in 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021. In 2016, Hagler's co-founders were named Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs, and he was named one of the Top 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs by Goldman Sachs in 2018.
Hagler's professional career started after graduating from Florida State University - College of Business, where he studied finance. He joined Syrup Marketing as the Growth Director and later co-founded Hucksley, where he served as CEO. Before building New Story, Hagler and his team formed Hometeam Ventures, where he advised aspiring entrepreneurs. He has also been an advisory board member at DocuSign Impact and sat on the board of directors for Garden City Companies; he was also an official member of Forbes Nonprofit Council.
Hagler's expertise lies in creating solutions to global problems with a focus on sustainable methods, and he is passionate about helping underserved communities.
