Bret Sorkness

Bret Sorkness, a seasoned Fortune 500 manager and startup founder, has over twelve years of experience in defining strategy and collaborating on execution. He is a solution-oriented, innovative thinker who motivates and inspires others to achieve ambitious goals. Bret's most notable achievements were as Director of Growth and Product Manager at MedicAlert Foundation, where he helped the organization drive growth and product development. He also co-founded Elevation Furniture, where he served as Head of Product, participating in the design, development, and sale of high-end ergonomic furniture. He managed NBC News as a manager, started FunList, and served as Director of Marketing at Paragon Building Artisans while also working as a Residential Sales Agent at The Corcoran Group. Bret holds an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business and a BA in Sociology from San Francisco State University. Currently, he is the Senior Product Manager at TED Conferences.
