Breogán Gonda

Breogán Gonda is an International Consultant in Large Systems with a rich background in academia and research.

He has served as a Computer Sciences Professor at prestigious institutions such as Universidad de la República in Uruguay, PUC in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and Catholic University in Uruguay.

Gonda is renowned for his expertise as a Consultant and Researcher in Database Management Systems and his contributions to Automatic Knowledge Management and Automatic Systems Generation & Maintenance.

In 1995, he was honored with the National Engineering Award for the Genexus Project by the National Engineering Academy of Uruguay, which he shared with Nicolás Jodal.

He has been an esteemed member of the National Engineering Academy of Uruguay since 1997 and the National Academy of Economy of Uruguay since 2000.

Furthermore, Gonda holds the distinction of being a Co-founder of GeneXus and the Genexus Group, a pivotal role he has played since 1985. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Board at Genexus, having previously held the position of President within the organization.

Breogán Gonda's academic background includes studying Engineering and Computer Sciences at the Universidad de la República in Uruguay.
