Brent Shearer

Brent Shearer is a real estate professional with extensive experience in both commercial and residential development. He served as a Partner at Blake Investment Partners, where he focused on business development, builder relationships, and new acquisition opportunities. In this role, he was responsible for underwriting and financial modeling for new projects and played a key role in operational efficiency and growth initiatives. He also served as a member of Blake's Investment Committee and was instrumental in the creation of Heatherland Homes, which scaled to construct 150-200 homes annually.125

Before his tenure at Blake, Shearer worked at Situs Companies, where he participated in over $3 billion worth of CMBS transactions with major lenders such as UBS and Bank of America. He holds a B.A. in Real Estate from the University of Georgia and an M.S. in Real Estate from Georgia State University.125

As of late 2023, Brent Shearer transitioned to become a Strategic Partner at Blue River Development, where he focuses on sourcing land opportunities for single-family communities and Build-to-Rent ventures across markets like Florida, the Carolinas, Nashville, Texas, and Atlanta.234
