Brent McKnight

Brent McKnight is a third-year law student at Duke University School of Law, where he holds the position of executive editor of Duke Law Journal and is a member of the Duke Moot Court Board. He has a rich background in legal research and internship experiences at prestigious law firms and the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Before pursuing his legal education, Brent McKnight completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar. He graduated with honors, double majoring in history and global studies, with a minor in politics, philosophy, and economics (PPE). Brent held notable leadership positions and graduated with highest distinction.

Brent McKnight's professional experience includes working in fundraising and development roles at Pisgah Legal Services, a nonprofit law firm dedicated to providing free legal services to low-income individuals and families in Western North Carolina.
