He has also written H.P. Lovecraft adaptations such as "The Resurrected" and "Necronomicon," as well as "Mortal Kombat Annihilation".1
In the gaming industry, Friedman has worked as a Narrative Designer and Writer for companies like Electronic Arts, Telltale, 343 Industries, Capcom, and Activision. His game credits include "Halo 4,” “Resident Evil 2 (2019)”, ”Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War,” and “Call of Duty: Vanguard.” He also co-created the storyworld for "Cloudbreakers - Leaving Haven," a VR experience.1 Most recently, Friedman is working on the Call of Duty game slated for release in 2023.1
Friedman is also an entrepreneur. He founded Electric Farm Entertainment, where he created and produced four award-winning multi-platform web series, including "Valemont" for MTV.1 He is the Chief Creative Officer for Artifact Technologies, a mobile development lab responsible for the location-based mobile game “BattleKasters”.12
Force Multiplier Studios, which Friedman co-founded with Jeremy Breslau and Charnjit Bansi, is working on the first official Kickboxer video game.4 Friedman is also planning to launch a podcast called "Creative" where he will interview creators.3
