Dean, Sam M. Walton Endowed Leadership Chair
Brent D. Williams is the Dean of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, having been appointed to the position effective February 1, 2024. Prior to this, he served as the interim dean starting in August 2023, following the transition of former dean Matt Waller back to faculty.34
Academic Background and Career
Dr. Williams earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management from the University of Arkansas, where he also completed his Master’s in Transportation and Logistics Management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lyon College.125
