Brent Barnes is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where he specialized in Plan II Honors Program, Spanish Language, and Latin American Studies. Additionally, he pursued a Spanish Language Immersion Program at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Brent also completed his high school education at The Kinkaid School.

Brent's professional journey includes his current position as the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at The BuyHive, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic operational expertise. Prior to this role, he held several key positions at Global Sources, such as President of Global Sources Online, COO, General Manager of Content & Community Development, Senior Manager of User Experience, Client Service & Buyer Events, and Private Sourcing Events.
