Brenna's educational background includes studies at New College of Florida and St. John's River Community College. Her journey into unschooling began at age 12 when her family attended an unschooling conference, which led to a significant shift in her educational approach.1
Her involvement with Not Back To School Camp started when she was 15, attending as a camper for four years before returning as staff in 2011.1 Brenna values the connections she has made through the camp and enjoys working with teenage unschoolers, appreciating their potential and open-mindedness.1
In addition to her work in ceramics and education, Brenna has experience in various fields, including literacy tutoring, political organizing, and community theater.1 She currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina, where she pursues her passion for ceramic art full-time.1
