Brendan Sterling

Brendan Sterling is a highly experienced NZ Chartered Professional Engineer with a strong background in business management, asset management, performance-based contracting, and project management.

With nearly 30 years of expertise, Brendan excels in road geometric design, specification and contract development, tender evaluation, client management, and project administration.

He possesses in-depth technical knowledge in Operations, Maintenance, and Rehabilitation (OMR) procurement and implementation, life cycle analysis, OMR cost model development, as well as the creation of performance-based specifications and quality management.

Brendan served as the Business Manager for Opus Asset Management and Transportation group of offices in British Columbia, Canada from 2012 to 2015, overseeing a team of around 20 engineers, technicians, and support staff.

Currently, Brendan holds the position of Business Manager for the Palmerston North Business at Opus International Consultants.

He pursued his Civil Engineering studies at the Central Institute of Technology, specializing in NZCE.

Throughout his career, Brendan has held various key roles such as Business Manager, Infrastructure Asset Management Consultant, and Roading Manager at Opus International Consultants.
