Brendan J. Keane

Brendan Keane is a seasoned financial services executive with over 25 years of experience in capital markets. He has worked as an advisor, investment banker, credit ratings analyst, and securities attorney. Currently, Brendan is the Head of Capital Markets at Dividend Finance, where he focuses on liquidity and related strategies for the company's solar and energy efficiency - home improvement loan portfolio.

Before joining Dividend Finance, Brendan delivered financing solutions, strategic regulatory advice, and litigation support for banks, specialty finance companies, and servicers across the commercial, residential, and consumer lending spectrum. In his career, he has worked on over $1 trillion of asset-backed securitizations, lines of credit, warehouse financings, and portfolio sales of mortgages, consumer loans, and commercial loans. Brendan has advised clients on related ratings, regulatory and litigation matters, including securities disclosure, asset performance and valuation, operational capabilities, and credit risk management.

Brendan is a dynamic speaker on developments in specialty, structured, and asset-backed finance and the author of congressional testimony, white papers, and commentaries on assorted regulatory, technical, and market issues impacting the residential mortgage and marketplace lending industries.

He studied Doctor of Law (J.D.) at Albany Law School of Union University and Bachelor of Science (BS), Business Administration at the State University of New York at Albany.
