Brenda de Smidt

Brenda Carolyn Molina, also known as Brenda de Smidt, is a dedicated professional with a background in Public Relations. She graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations.

Brenda's career journey began with an internship at the Assignment Desk of Telemundo Bay Area, where she contributed to identifying newsworthy events, gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience in live news production.

Amidst the challenges of 2020, Brenda seized the opportunity to work with Acterra on the Climate Resilient Communities program, later evolving into its own organization. She actively engaged with communities, particularly addressing climate change issues and providing valuable information for a healthier planet.

Upon her return to Telemundo Bay Area as a Production Assistant, Brenda delved deeper into community issues, notably assisting the RESPONDE department, focusing on consumer investigative reporting.

Apart from her professional endeavors, Brenda has abundant experience in various organizations, such as C3 AI, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, Acterra, and several roles involving child care services and hospitality management.
