Brandon Smithwood is a clean energy advocate with a passion for the outdoors and spending time with his family and dog. With a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University and a BA in Government and Environmental Studies from Colby College, Smithwood has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the renewable energy industry.
Currently serving as the Director of Policy at Dimension Renewable Energy, Smithwood previously held positions as the Policy Director at Coalition for Community Solar Access, Director of California State Affairs at Solar Energy Industries Association, and Senior Manager of Policy Programs at Ceres, Inc. He also worked as a consultant for the California Energy Efficiency Industry Council and as a Clean Energy Markets Fellow at the Conservation Services Group.
Smithwood's expertise lies in policy development and shaping public opinion regarding clean and renewable energy sources. His experience in the industry has given him an in-depth understanding of the economic, social, and environmental benefits of these energy sources. In addition to his professional experience, Smithwood has keen interests in environmental conservation, sustainable living, and education.
