As the security SME and architect on DVLabs, my role builds upon my previous work at TipppingPoint both as a researcher and engineer.  I design security solutions to be implemented on the Intrusion Prevention System to create new features enabling DVLabs to provide cutting edge protection to our customers.  I work with the engineering group to ensure a smooth implementation that fulfills the requirements from product management and provides meaningful security protection.

Embedded Systems development - bringing research to reality.

I worked on engineering side of TippingPoint as a senior developer to lead the implementation of machine learning filters.  Bringing much of the research I had done on DVLabs Research to the IPS.  During my tenure on this team I brought Machine Learning Filters from design to production on our IPS and also implemented the proof of concept for other new features to be released soon.

As a senior security researcher in HP TippingPoint DVLabs, I am responsible for technical leadership and mentorship within DVLabs, as well as performing original research to be used within the product.  In addition I speak about interesting research topics at international security conferences to help promote good security research world-wide.

My research focus is largely on utilizing big-data and machine learning within a security context and have several publications revolving around this common theme.
