Led the project creation team in converting a project brief and footwear design into a 3D sample that meets the needs of the consumer and can be successfully and profitably commercialized and produced.
Applied fundamental understanding of product and category objectives, quality goals and athlete/consumer requirements and recommends and specifies materials, components, and construction options to meet key features and product performance goals.
Coordinated and collaborated with overseas factory partners, vendors, and developers to address challenges, perform testing, and deliver premium footwear samples to our merchandise and sales partners.
Executed the decision making process to ensure that all projects are completed on time, can be mass produced, are proven and tested, and meet design intent, as well as performance, costing and sustainability goals.

Wrote business plans, raised $100,000 and provided strong leadership in the start-up phase of this foreign investment company that imports and distributes food in a large foreign market:
