Brandie Melendez is a highly accomplished individual with expertise in community and inclusion, leadership, and human resources management. She is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Leadership, respectively. Throughout her career, Melendez has held several key positions, including director of Community and Inclusion at Berkeley Carroll School and vice president of Human Resources at Mindshift, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ricoh USA, Inc. She is currently the co-chair of the Diversity Committee and the Diversity Practitioners Conference Committee Member at Nysais.

During her time at Mindshift, Melendez served as a corporate human resources manager and human resources professional. Her experience in the field has helped her develop a breadth of knowledge related to employee relations, talent acquisition, management, and diversity and inclusion. At Berkeley Carroll School, she ensured that the community's diversity and inclusion efforts were well-coordinated and effective. Her leadership skills, combined with her passion for diversity, have helped drive change and create a more inclusive environment wherever she has worked.

As a graduate of Horace Mann School, Melendez is deeply committed to education and helping others achieve their full potential. She has also been involved in several philanthropic causes, and her values align with her work in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her education and professional background have equipped her with the skills necessary to drive success and influence change for organizations.
