    Brady Robards is an Associate Professor of Sociology and Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University.34 He specializes in digital culture research, focusing on how people use social media platforms.1 Robards completed his PhD at Griffith University in 2012, studying the role of social media in young people's identity-work and experiences of belonging on MySpace and Facebook.3
