Brady Forrest is a well-known figure in the technology industry. He is a successful entrepreneur having co-founded Ignite, a global talk series held at events such as SXSW, Google, and the White House. Brady is also the co-founder of Highway1, a hardware accelerator that has backed over 75 hardware startups through their program. He has worked with 500 Startups and Khosla Ventures as well as chaired several O’Reilly Media technology conferences, including Where 2.0, Fluent, Web 2.0 Expo and Android Open. Additionally, he is a Kauffman Fellow and the author of O'Reilly's The Hardware Startup.
Brady has a vast background in software technology, having worked at Microsoft for ten years, where he was part of the MSN Music and MSN Search teams. He also has experience in supply chain management, where he worked in the industry. Currently, he is the Head of Business Development at MobileCoin, a company that builds privacy-protecting cryptocurrency technology.
Brady is a guest lecturer at Singularity University, and he's been a board member for several nonprofit organizations like the Community Arts Stabilization Trust, Worldchanging, and CAST. He is a strong advocate of the arts and has helped create sustainable housing for artists in San Francisco and Oakland.
