Bradley Voytek
Bradley Voytek is a renowned neuroscientist, data scientist, and professor, with a vast experience in cognitive science, machine learning, and brain research. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience from UC Berkeley and is currently an associate professor at UC San Diego, where he is also a founding faculty member of the UC San Diego Haliçıoğlu Data Science Institute and Undergraduate Data Science program. Bradley has worked extensively on large-scale data analysis and communication between different brain regions, investigating how this communication changes with development, aging, and disease. Apart from his regular academic work, Bradley is also a Sloan Neuroscience Research Fellow and a Kavli Fellow of the National Academies of Sciences. Bradley is a well-recognized supporter of science education and public outreach, which reflects in his numerous appearances on outlets such as NPR and San Diego Comic-Con. His outreach work has also been published in scientific journals.
