Brad Bernthal
Associate Professor, Colorado Law School
Brad Bernthal is an Associate Professor of Law at Colorado Law School and the Director of the Entrepreneurship Initiative for the Silicon Flatirons Center.
As a professor, Brad leads the law school's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and teaches courses in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and innovation policy.
He is also the founding Director of Silicon Flatirons Entrepreneurship Initiative, which connects the CU campus to the startup community.
Brad has prior consulting experience in angel finance and public safety emergency communications and currently mentors at the Boulder Techstars program.
His research interests focus on innovation in highly regulated industries, entrepreneurial finance, and telecommunications policy.
Brad holds a JD in Law from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Kansas.
He has a rich professional background that includes roles at various prestigious organizations like Berg Hill Greenleaf & Ruscitti LLP, Hogan and Hartson, and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison.
