Borre Akkersdijk is a prominent Dutch textile designer, recognized for his role as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) and co-founder of BYBORRE, a studio specializing in textile innovation. Born in Wamel, Netherlands, he pursued fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. In 2010, Akkersdijk laid the groundwork for BYBORRE by initially consulting for major brands like Nike and Louis Vuitton.
