Boris Sursky is a highly experienced construction professional with over 45 years in the Roofing and Building trades. He has served as a Roofing Contractor and Authority having Jurisdiction (AHJ) overseeing inspections, plan reviews, approvals, and enforcement for projects in compliance with the Florida Building Code (FBC), particularly in Miami-Dade (MDC) and Broward Counties, designated as High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ). Boris worked with the Building Division of the Regulation and Economic Resources Department in MDC for 27 years, contributing to the development of the award-winning web-based electronic permitting system.
