Bongani Dlamini is the Head of Country Operations and Support at the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Elimination Eight Initiative (E8).1 In this role, he oversees efforts to eliminate malaria in southern Africa by 2030. The E8 is a coalition of eight countries working across national borders to combat malaria, including Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.1
