Bobby Baker is a prominent figure in the field of oncology, currently serving as the President and Medical Director at the Pacific Cancer Institute of Maui. He has a rich educational background, having earned a degree in chemical engineering and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville. Dr. Baker specialized in Radiation Oncology, completing his residency at the University of Florida and serving as Chief Resident at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Baker's career began with the establishment of his first cancer center in Ashland, Kentucky, in 1985, where he founded the Tri-State Regional Cancer Center. He later expanded his expertise by opening additional centers, including the Cancer Center of Charleston, West Virginia, and the Pacific Cancer Institute in Maui, which he founded in 1993. He led this institute until 2015, when he sold it and relocated to Charleston, South Carolina.13

He served as Chief of Staff at Maui Memorial Medical Center and has held positions on the boards of several organizations, including the American Cancer Society and the United Way.
