Bob Whelan

Bob Whelan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the PMAT Companies, a national private equity real estate investment platform established in January 2003.1 He has extensive experience in commercial real estate development and investment:

1. Prior to founding PMAT, Whelan was the CFO of Sizeler Property Investors, Inc., a NYSE REIT, becoming the youngest CFO in Public REIT history at 31 years old.12

2. Under his leadership, PMAT has acquired and transacted on over 100 primarily grocery-anchored shopping centers, with an aggregate market value exceeding $1.5 billion and totaling over 12,400,000 square feet.1

3. Whelan began his career in public accounting, working for Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group in Los Angeles, focusing on consulting for major publicly traded real estate companies.12

4. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Los Angeles, and ranked in the top 1% in the national CPA examination.1

5. Whelan is currently enrolled in Seminary for a Masters in Practical Theology.1

6. He serves as a Trustee on the board of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2020.12

7. Whelan has been recognized as a top 40 executive in the New Orleans metropolitan area and has been a guest speaker at public forums and a lecturer at Tulane University's MBA program.12

8. He is actively involved in community service, having served on various boards and as a Commissioner for Recreation District #1 for the State of Louisiana.12
