Bob Balfe is a distinguished technology leader with experience spanning over three decades in the software industry. He has held several leadership roles over the last 18 years, cementing his reputation as a thought leader in the world of eCommerce, software development, technical sales, and product strategy. Bob's business acumen and technical prowess have made him a lead-by-example executive, in whose hands, complex solution architecture seamlessly come together.

At IBM, Bob started as a software engineer and climbed up the ranks until he attained the position of Distinguished Engineer, Strategy & Offering Management, WW Demo Team, Watson Customer Engagement, where he lent his expertise in sales and demonstrated some of IBM's most intricate solutions worldwide. Also, he is an experienced C-Level presenter, providing organizations with insights on go-to-market strategies, partner enablement, and level 400 training, amongst others.

Bob is a life-long learner and lives demonstration specialist, which has made him thrive under pressure. He is an industry expert on omni-channel eCommerce, Fulfillment, BOPIS, and Buy-online-ship-from-store. As such, Bob has a passion for making complex demos look easy, which is also his strong suit.

Asides from work, Bob has studied Masters in Information System Management and a Bachelors in E-business at the University of Phoenix. He is also an active member of the Cloud Standards Customer Council, among other organizations.
