Responsible for acting as an IS Assurance technical resource to clients, IS Assurance and General Assurance personnel in the resolution of complex and high-level tasks associated with the audit process. Furthermore, participate in the development of business proposals and other business development activities to grow the IS Assurance practice.

In my capacity, I played an integral role in planning, executing, and reporting internal and external IT audits, along with overseeing IT control testing plans, including IT-dependent manual controls, system-generated reports, system interface controls, and calculations. I  developed and executed risk and control services plans, including audit activities and SOX/MAR/FDICIA compliance activities. I also significantly improved service delivery by recommending process improvements and creating awareness of Mazars’ services.

As a Director, I spearheaded  proposals development processes and assist 120+ clients in establishing an information technology general control framework following industry standards in support of the company's internal control over the financial reporting framework. I showcased my stellar interpersonal communication skills in presenting audit results to executive management and writing executive summary, details implementation strategy and value-added initiatives. Besides that, I identified control deficiencies and risks by meticulously examining internal processes and procedures.

With my key performance, I assessed the impact of clients' business continuity and disaster recovery policies and procedures on industry practices. I effectuated my superior leadership skills in supervising, training, and mentoring 15+ staff members. Lastly, I conducted pre and post-implementation System Development Life Cycle audits while maintaining productive customer partnerships, actively responding to changes in priorities, and delivering timely and innovative services.

Under Grant Thornton LLP, I specialized in directing risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes, supporting business development activities, and ensuring that complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to management and risk committees. I effectively accomplished the organization's goals and objectives by leading the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of unit staff, along with designing, establishing, and maintaining an organizational structure and staffing. 

I also assumed utmost responsibility for assessing departmental needs, establishing priorities for audit coverage, developing short- and long-range audit plans, and monitoring and periodically reporting status to engagements partners. I built robust relationships with regents, administrators, staff, and external audit firms while monitoring and evaluating all staff and managers' programmatic and operational effectiveness. On top of that, I prepared financial budgets, presented proposals, and oversaw 100+ audit clients' IT audits, supervised a team of 20+ IT professionals.

During my tenure as an IT Audit Manager, I competently served as the key contributor in accomplishing IT risk assessments against industry standards and delivering various engagement types, including IT Internal Audit, ICFR/SOX, IT strategic projects, and managed IT assessment services. I offered significant support for client engagements' planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases. I also orchestrated internal controls, IT risk management frameworks, and the workload for assigned client engagements. Likewise, I continuously nurtured clients’ confidence and actively participated in client relationship management and prospecting.
