Boahen B. is a seasoned full-stack software engineer with a strong background in building startups and software consulting. Graduating from MEST in 2011, he co-founded Saya Mobile, a company that revolutionized mobile messaging for millions in emerging markets and earned recognition as a TechCrunch Disrupt Finalist in San Francisco in 2012. Eventually, Saya Mobile was acquired by Kirusa in 2014. Boahen has extensive experience in developing frontend applications for iOS and Android, single-page applications (SPA), and backend systems. He has worked on diverse projects in areas such as mobile messaging, social networking, social media, and health information systems. Boahen's current tech stack includes Python, Elixir, Phoenix, Vuejs, GraphQL, Postgres, Laravel, Nginx, RASA NLP, and AWS. In the past, he has also worked with technologies like Erlang, ObjectiveC, Android (Java), Rails, XMPP, PHP, MNESIA, and J2ME. Additionally, Boahen is currently exploring Dart, Flutter, Reactjs, and AngularDart.
